The experienced Brisbane Pressed Metal team were contracted by Builder West to West to remove original, rusted pressed metal ceilings from 4 sections, in this Heritage Listed, commercial, Queen Street building & replace them with the exact same designs and cornice. The Australian Pressed Metal Group have the largest range of pressed metal designs & metal cornice & provided & installed all of the original designs & cornice to restore the original grandeur & charm. Brisbane Pressed Metals team of experienced Builders removed & reinstated all of the pressed metal panels & cornice working to the Builders schedule & working under challenging conditions as there were over 100 stairs up to the rooms being restored & no lifts in the historic building. The original designs replaced were The Ophir (main panel design) with a border of Paddington design and completed with the Ella May cornice. Australian Pressed Metal panels are pressed from premium aluminium and will last even longer than the original tin ceiling panels, preserving the buidings history for well over the next 100 years.
